The Colorado fire commission (commission) was created in the division of fire prevention and control in the department of public safety. The commission is set to be repealed, effective September 1, 2024, and is subject to a sunset review prior to its repeal. The bill implements the recommendations in the department of regulatory agencies' 2023 sunset report to continue the commission indefinitely.
